What’s the best thing about being a teacher?
Seeing the faces of my students when they improve on a personal best time or reps.
Who/what inspired you to become a teacher?
Understanding all the challenges I faced as a student. Knowing that it takes a great support system from family, and your teachers made me ultimately want to continue being one, just so I can be there when my students make those improvements they strive for.
What’s your favorite way to spend a Saturday night?
Hanging out with my friends at a restaurant.
What one piece of advice would you give to your students?
Your academic journey is not going to be easy. As a student, even in your best subject, you will be pushed. But the ultimate goal of receiving a diploma after all the time and effort. Being challenged by your teachers, and professors will make you a better person in life!
What inspires or motivates you?
My family is my inspiration. My parents have always taught me from young age, whenever I step outside my house, I am a representation of them. If I look good, and make myself presentable both with my manners, and good upkeep of myself, I am doing my family name proud.
