How do you get the idea for your novel My Love Won’t Last Forever: His Wife?

Real-life events inspired the idea to write this novel. Ivan and I have a history and he always wanted me to write a book about him. So, I took real aspects from our life and sprinkled it with some fiction but people who know us, know where the truth lies in the story.

What is your favorite line from your book?

My favorite line in the book is when Nyree asks Ivan, “An expert on women? Is that your way of telling me you’ve had a lot of women in your lifetime, Mr. Marrick?”

Which of your characters do you believe are most like you and why question?

Nyree is most like me. I incorporate a lot of my experiences into her character and then add some total opposites to her character just to spice up things.

What message do you hope readers will take away from your book?

I hope readers will read this book and realize that family is important and sometimes people do change and second chances are not always a bad thing. Additionally, at the beginning of a relationship everything always seems great but keep your eyes open and pay attention. This is the time when you can overlook crucial details because you get captivated by feelings and sometimes lust.

How did you get published?

I own my own publishing company and I published My Love Won’t Last Forever 3: His Wife through Tranquil Moments. I teach authors how to publish their own books and how to obtain sponsors to assist them.

What have been your greatest literary accomplishments?

Obtaining sponsors to publish my works, obtaining clothing sponsors to wear apparel to events, and winning the Distinguished Literary Guild Award for Romance in 2020 for my book, Love Of My Life.

Do you have any new books in the works?

I am currently working on a book called Still Standing and a screenplay.
