After word spread from Veronica Dawson’s Sunday testimony—telling her dad’s fish stories describing the wrong guys she dated: the Catfish who loves garbage, the Sturgeon who likes to nibble, the Salmon who hates getting caught, and the Pufferfish who is handsome until agitated—the women asked for more fish stories.
In response, Greyson and Veronica host a women’s conference focused on the WRONG CATCH with 4 new fish analogies about dating trophy fish. The trophy fish are popular for multi-million-dollar fishing tournaments. Anglers must prepare for a long fight because the trophy fish will fly above water to knock the hook out of its mouth. Most times the fish wins.
On land, a trophy fish feels entitled, even when their financial status does not match the title. They believe anyone in their inner circle is like an extra in a movie and lucky to be around them.

A character from book #1 returns and shocks everyone with several surprise announcements.
What is the purpose of this book?
As a women’s ministry leader, I’m a seasoned Titus 2 woman of faith called to teach the younger and I love it. Using fictional stories, my books highlight dating mistakes, and provide insight and tools for single women can use—they are specially designed for those who are serious about discovering their husbands.
Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work? A common thread?
Dating 4 marriage, dating safe, avoiding toxic relationships, discovering the husband you deserve, dating tips.
Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write? Which part was the hardest?
The prologue was the hardest. It was a challenge deciding how best to transition the story from the ending of the first book to the beginning of this one. The most fun was the twins. I loved the stories about the twins and the use of their twining abilities in their stories. I spoke with my twin nephew to get some true insight into twinning and the story comes close.
Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?
I love helping and giving to others. In our faith, it’s called the gift of helps. It is the source of my blessings because God always returns more to me than what I give in helping others. I feel my writing provides me another avenue to do this on a grander scale and affords me the opportunity to create fictional stories that will inspire women everywhere.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
I appreciate those who fell in love with book #1 and hope they fall in love with Book #3. I’m especially looking forward to their reaction to the cliffhanger.
