The purpose of this book is to encourage and uplift. We all have had a storm that we’ve had to endure but God proves time and time again to be greater than circumstance.

Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work? A common thread?

When it looks like it’s not going to work in my favor, God not only shows up, but he shows out on my behalf.

Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write? Which part was the hardest?

This is an anthology with 14 writers, and I think the most fun part was deciding on how to arrange the testimonies. The hardest part was the production and overcoming obstacles that constantly came up. I remember getting on a plane going to Orlando and saying to myself things will work themselves out. That was me having to put things in God’s hands.

Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?

I once had a crazy fit when things were not going my way. I said I wasn’t going to write anymore. I said I didn’t ask for this writing gift. God spoke to me and said, “If you don’t do it, I will find someone else.” I came to myself and embraced my gift.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

Enjoy life and live to the fullest. Even when things don’t happen in your time frame, just roll with the process. Understand that delay does not mean denial. I’m a firm believer that things will work in my favor.
