The Crazy Faith Journal is a companion guide to the Crazy Faith Anthology. You can write your takeaways from the book in the journal. I personally, write my Power Moves in my Crazy Faith Journal.
Why did you decide to write it?
For me, the Crazy Faith Journal is one of the most powerful tools I have in my arsenal combined with my faith. I write my Power Moves in my Crazy Faith journal. These Power Moves are like a promise/contract I have with myself. One thing I am not going to do is lie to myself. So, if I write it in my journal… it becomes a promise, I have to myself. I’ve been let down by people many times in my life, so I am not going to let ME down. This book is probably one of the most important books in my life because my mom passed away in June 2022, I wrote a note about Crazy Faith at the beginning of the journal. Her words will be a written legacy for our family.
What’s the best part of being an author?
The best part of being an author is holding each new book in your hands and seeing your finished product.
What’s the worst part of being an author?
Sometimes having several book ideas and not knowing which one to complete first.
If you were to write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?
My second novel, Love Don’t Live Here Anymore is that book. It is currently not in print. I wrote this book because I went through a divorce and rough times. I could not seem to get over the anger. Writing that novel was cathartic and therapeutic. It is not solely autobiographical but was what I needed to move beyond that place in my life. Readers have come to love the main characters in the book, Nyree, and Malachi.
What is something readers would be surprised to know about you?
I have a pair of glasses that I wear specifically for reading long works and creating my writing.
What are you currently working on right now?
I am working on a book, which is my testimony, I’m Still Standing.
