The author shares her personal journey of self-exploration and discovery to illustrate life’s impersonal perfectly crafted experiences which are exquisitely synchronized with our awakening. It is lighthearted and deep, contemporary, ancient, serious, and funny.
Greatly influenced by her professional career as a social worker and psychotherapist, she frames her story around the universal stages of human development from birth to old age. She reviews life’s challenges from psychological, social, spiritual, economic, and physical perspectives, using ancient wisdom to reveal the mystery, magic, and majesty of everyday life.
Although her spiritual roots are Christian, they are planted in the universal soil of love.

How did you get published?
Although my mother had an executive will proportioning every detail out she never mentioned her book but her very last words to me were La Wanda take care of the kids and do what is next. It took me a few years to understand that publishing her book is what was next. I had to change the names of foster care kids and unrelated people. But regarding the words that she spoke to the family I did not change the names and my disclaimer is not my words but hers.
