Today, we recognize the contributions and services of pastors, priests, reverends, ministers, and all other clergymen. On Pastor Appreciation Day we come together to express our gratitude to pastors and other staff of the church. Today, I would like to thank Pastor Paulette Harper, Danyelle Scroggins, Denise Walker, Dr. Velma Bagby.
Pastor Paulette Harper is an award-winning, bestselling author and the founder of WNL Coaching and Marketing Services. Along with being an ordained Pastor, she is the author of several books and the founder of Write Now Literary Virtual Book Tours, a service to help promote authors of the Christian genre and authors of clean books.
As an inspirational and motivational speaker, her desire is to empower, influence and cultivate women to move forward while dealing with issues that hinder women from becoming all they are created to be. Her topics are biblically sound and pertinent to the needs of today’s women. Paulette has appeared on numerous radio and Television shows.
Combining enthusiasm with an energetic speaking style, audiences describe Paulette’s presentation as inspiring, enriching, and encouraging. She is committed to speaking a message that is always uplifting and edifying.
Senior Pastor Danyelle Scroggins of New Vessels Ministries North in Shreveport, Louisiana is a dynamic author of both Christian fiction and non-fiction books. She studied Theology at Louisiana Baptist University, has a Psychology Degree from the University of Phoenix, an Interdisciplinary Degree in Psychology /Biblical Studies, and a Masters in Religious Education from Liberty University. She owns Divinely Sown Publishing LLC and is an avid reader. She is the wife of Pastor Reynard Scroggins and the mother of three by birth and two by marriage.
Minister Denise M. Walker of Hope-in-Christ, a global evangelism ministry with various components is an educator, author, podcaster, and entrepreneur. In addition, Denise is the owner of Armor of Hope Writing & Publishing Services, LLC. Through her ministry and business, Denise desires to point others to the Redeemer, Christ Jesus. She seeks to help build biblical literacy in others and help women and girls overcome their past pain and abuse, come out of the “Barren Places” in their lives and understand their true, God-given identity and purpose.
Associate Minister Dr. Velma Bagby has 30+ years of ministering to single women, providing pre-marriage and marriage counseling. When ministering to singles or speaking to couples, or in her writing, Dr. Velma has personally seen the danger and misery of choosing outside what God wants. “It’s like having over ten keys on a keyring, but only knowing where two or three of them fit. God has given believers the keys, but we do not know what keys are used to unlock certain doors. Or we attempt to use the wrong key on the wrong door. And some simply do not know how to use a key,” she says.
Dr. Velma loves storytelling and using her imagination to present an important message. Her inspiration for writing fictional stories comes from recognizing that Jesus was a Master Storyteller who used relatable things in stories with deeper meaning. She hopes those who read her fiction books will come away with nuggets they can use for themselves or share with others.
Also, these amazing women of God are authors. You can go to Amazon or their websites and find their books.
