How do you get the idea for your kindle Vella Madame Knocks 2nd Street Beauty Parlor?
I got the idea for this story while walking to work. There is an old restaurant with the sign Madam Knock’s Pine Street Beauty Parlor. I changed the title to 2nd street Beauty Parlor.
What is your favorite line from your book?
My favorite line is “Kyle is full-fledge straight jacket crazy.”.
Which of your characters do you believe are most like you and why question?
These characters are so not like me. This is a new genre that I am venturing into. I am having fun writing something new.
What message do you hope readers will take away from your book?
This story is about lust, jealousy, envy, and greed. I want my readers to see that good always wins.
How did you get published?
I am a self-published author.
What have been your greatest literary accomplishments?
My greatest literary accomplishment is winning 5 Emma Awards for diverse writers
Do you have any new books in the works?
I am releasing a poetry book in August it is titled, “Fried Okra and Green Tomato Poetry”.
Is there anything else you would like the readers to know?
I am also a playwright. I have written and produced three community plays. I have also written 2 children’s books
