Book Spotlight – Catching Dreams: After the Vengeance (The Saga of Savannah Book 2) – Kaylynn Hunt

Tell us about your book, Catching Dreams.

Catching Dreams is the follow-up to Love With A Vengeance however, it can be read as a stand-alone. Savannah finds herself in love, Again! But some people aren’t as happy for her as you would expect. And she doesn’t make it easy for anyone. Friendships are tested, and Savannah’s sanity comes into question. The ending on this one is not so happy.

Why did you decide to write it?

I love writing. I love introducing characters and putting them in situations people can relate to. It’s a way to create an escape for me in writing and for the reader.

What’s the best part of being an author?

What I love the most is surprising people. Surprising them with something they didn’t see coming, even surprising some at how good the writing is. It’s the satisfaction of being unpredictable.

What’s the worst part of being an author?

That feeling like your next one won’t be as good as your last. I don’t know, for me at least, I always feel like it has to get better.

Who is your favorite character in the book, and why?

In this one, I’d have to go with Chris. She was not to be played with when it came to telling the truth.

What was the hardest part of writing the story?

The hardest part of this story was having to write a few of the not-so-pleasant parts. One, in particular, had me in tears as I thought about how I would react in the same situation. It was heavy.

If you were to write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?

HA! Unapologetically Unbothered here’s the cover. The title says it all. I haven’t started yet but it’s mine. https://drive.google.com/file/d/11xJP7KBUw7H1bKIxQvNNXboF3s8kGDsw/view?usp=sharing

What is something readers would be surprised to know about you?

I can’t spell.

What are you currently working on right now?

I was working on Killer Love, a crime drama romance. It’s about a serial killer and their love interest. Unfortunately, through a series of circumstances, I lost all my progress. But I’ll start again. In the meanwhile, I’ve been adding chapters to my Kindle Vella Series, Signed In Ink. It’s about a woman that owns a very successful Tattoo business and all the goings-on with the employees and patrons.

Do you have anything else you would like to add?
