Tell us about your book, Recipe of Deception.
This book is full of drama. It’s about a man having an affair. But then so is his wife. And the series of events that unfold are just insane. Their infidelities intersect and things explode. They have no idea they are pulling on a common thread.
Why did you decide to write it?
This was actually my second publication. And it was a bit of a way to challenge myself. Whereas in my first book, each character was a little piece of someone in my life. All these characters created themselves, grew, and changed all on their own.
What’s the best part of being an author?
Taking people’s minds to unexpected places.
What’s the worst part of being an author?
The anticipation after your release, the worry of if your work will be well received.
Who is your favorite character in the book, and why?
Destiny because I honestly don’t know if she’s the protagonist or antagonist.
What was the hardest part of writing the story?
The hardest part of this was intertwining the layers without giving away the next twist. Making sure it all flowed while making it believable.
What is something readers would be surprised to know about you?
I am not a great speller.
What are you currently working on right now?
I have one Kindle Vella Series but there’s also another in the pipeline Therapist Confessions. And this therapist has a thin grasp of morality.
