Author Spotlight – Felicha Sinegar-Stanley

Felicha grew up in Port Arthur, Texas, and currently resides in Dallas, Texas. She enjoys reading, writing, and mentoring young women. Her goal is to get women actively involved in empowering young girls and other women. She helps women by empowering them in the areas they want and need. One of her favorite quotes is “When women succeed, nations are more safe, secure and prosperous. There is no tool for development more effective than the empowerment of Women”. Barack Obama, 44th US President.

Felicha is a member of the Non-Fiction Authors Association where she plans to make a difference in her local chapter in Dallas, Texas. Not only does Felicha plan to be an active participant in that association, she also plans to be active in a number of associations and organizations directly related to women’s issues and women’s empowerment. In the United States, we have many more associations and organizations that directly support women than in any other country.

As a compassionate educator devoted to helping students achieve their goals, plus a dedicated leader for community service, Felicha Stanley has built a career that can be summoned or summarized in one phrase: “helping others”. When she is not helping women and children who are victims of domestic violence in the community, she’s donating her time to community organizations such as the Arthritis Foundation, The Family Place, and New Beginnings to name a few.

Non-fiction. My subject matter.

My purpose is to empower others with the gifts given to me.
