Vernon Scott is a graduate of Mercer University and Trevecca Nazarene University. He has received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Creative Writing, a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Leadership, and a Doctor of Education degree in Leadership and Professional Practice. Vernon is currently working towards earning a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Sex Coach Certification.
His academic research deals with rape culture. This research is part of what inspired his first book and his advocacy against rape culture.
Vernon has a passion for writing and education. His past work experience includes customer service and higher education. Currently, he is working on building my publishing and coaching business. He is also in the process of developing an online course that provides a comprehensive learning experience on the topic of rape culture. Vernon plans on expanding my course offering further.
Lastly, he hosted three podcasts. His main podcasts are the Heauxliloquy Podcast and the Dismantle the Culture Podcast. The Heauxliloquy Podcast is all about sexual expression and having fun nuance discussions about sex. The Dismantle the Culture Podcast focuses on educating others about rape culture. And the last podcast, the Silent Letters Podcasts, is an extension of his business’s advice column.
