Tell us about your book, Whispers in the Dark Descent Into Madness.
This book is the sequel to Whispers in the Dark. It delves a bit more into the mindset of our main characters while, of course, maintaining the story line. I would say that in the second book we get to witness the spiralling out of control and ultimately the descent into madness.
Why did you decide to write it?
It’s the sequel- everyone wants to know what happens!
What’s the best part of being an author?
Meeting people and sharing my vision, my story.
What’s the worst part of being an author?
Who is your favorite character in the book, and why?
Mmm, I don’t think I really have a favorite character. I’m rooting for Shervon and Sarah, because despite everything, they still have hope and fight for a better tomorrow.
What was the hardest part of writing the story?
My characters waking me up- so I can write. Lots of sleepless nights.
If you were to write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?
I’m planning on writing a book about a particular aspect of my life, so stay tuned. Since I haven’t started on the book- I’m going to hold the title close.
What is something readers would be surprised to know about you?
That I was a LT in the U.S Coast Guard.
What are you currently working on right now?
Promoting Black Women Need Love Too and working on my next nonfiction and the prequel to the Whispers Series.
Do you have anything else you would like to add?
Please be sure to follow me on Facebook and Twitter @SnmJones and on Instagram as @snm_jones_writes.
Loose and rampant in the city, undetected, unchallenged and descending into madness with each kill, with each victim, as he works back to the one who started it all. The woman that got away. His first love. Time is running out.
Shevron is running out of time and so are the victims that she seeks to save. Unless Shevron can open her mind to the impossible, a killer will get away with murder again.
