Tell us about your book Holiday Wish.
Holiday Wish is a fake couple turned into real romance.
Why did you decide to write it?
Last year, during the thick of COVID and dealing with my own stuff, I needed to take my mind off of everything. Holiday Wish’s characters came to me and they were a good escape from reality.
What’s the best part of being an author?
Your characters, your rules!
What’s the worst part of being an author?
Your characters, your rules. Not everyone is into every character or scene that’s written.
Who is your favorite character in the book, and why?
London Martin-the heroine. She musters the courage to ask a man to be her fake boyfriend to take home to her family, and she’s confident!
What was the hardest part of writing the story?
Keeping timelines together and matching the weather and travel plans with the timelines. For example, you can’t say it here is a blizzard and all flights are grounded in one pov, and in the same time frame, in the same location, but different pov, I couldn’t say a character was on a flight. Things like that make your audience question you.
