It’s almost bedtime, but I must settle down to read my favorite book. Mom and Dad will be coming soon to tuck me in and say good night. This book is like magic, everything comes to life. The characters dance they even sing. I am in my little world.
Is most girls dream to pretend, to see herself as a princess. To have that special secret that cannot be shared. It’s like that special sandwich or favorite snack you look forward too.
I settled down in my cozy corner in my bedroom, getting all comfortable. BOOM!!!!!! The book is opened WOW!!!! All the sparkles, glitters it’s bright.
There are the characters, they come alive, it’s make believe but this is what I see. OH NO!!! the time is drawing close, my parents will be here soon, this moment must last. The characters jumped out the book, they were holding my hand.
They laugh with me and sing. It was Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel and the whole Mickey Mouse gang. They even gave me a gift, I was so happy that I forgot about time, there was eats and drinks. My room was transformed, the secrets is out. I was having so much fun.
Then I heard footsteps coming, Geez!!!!! I must get this place in order. The footsteps are stronger, they are coming. I beckoned the characters to get back in the book.
OH NOOOO!!! No one is listening to me. I am panicking, what to do?
There was a knock on the door. It was locked. “Katie? It will be mom alone to tuck you in.” she said, “Yes mom ok, I will open in a second.” I said,
Then for some reason my characters got scared and they pressed themselves into the book. Everything happened so fast. I breathed a sigh of relief. The room was good I unlocked the door, mom tucked me in and said good night. Then as I looked to my left, the book was lighting up again and I didn’t touch it.
