There’s a part in the book where Gwendolyn, the protagonist of the novel is brewing on an idea and she goes in on a philosophical level on an apples core and in that one piece of observation she demonstrates the comparison to the origin of a woman’s strength.
What is the purpose of this book?
The purpose of this book is to acknowledge women’s history and to share light on a woman’s accomplishments and struggles. Alpha is really a matriarch of characteristics. And in honor of the 100yr anniversary of the woman’s right to vote, I wrote ” The Badass Witch” to give her a new word for her tenacity and perseverance instead of a female dog. A bold, intelligent, outspoken and ambitious woman in medieval times was considered a witch. And once a woman was accused of being a witch sure death was her sentence. So the woman of today is that badass witch. And that’s what I want women to know.
Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work? A common thread?
The theme of this novel that recurs is the ambitious streak of each character.
Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write? Which part was the hardest?
Gwendolyn was the character that was fun to write about, I felt I knew her and that all the women across the world knew her or knew of her and she is so badass in vulnerability and strength that is so sexy and appealing. But the hard part of the book was in demonstrating how things are subject to change in our lives through this one character.
Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?
I suffer from anxiety that I assumed was OCD.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
This particular novel The Badass Witch is a classic novel and as of now a collective item. It’s in its first printing and if anyone knows about classic material like Gone With The Wind, it will be worth a zillion × more in the future, so it will be in any of you best interest to go cope with my novel.
