Which five words best describe Food Addiction: The Struggle Has Been Real?

You are not alone in this…

Can you share one highlight from the book?

My journey is not unique.  Many have wrestled with emotional eating/food addiction for years, however there is hope to overcome the vicious cycle of it.

What is the purpose of this book?

The purpose of this book is to share my story to show others that have suffered in silence that they are not alone.  Food addiction is real and it needs to be recognized so something can be done about it so people no longer suffer needlessly or silently as I have suffered for years.  You can be free to talk about the issue (in a safe space) and work through it until you overcome.  There is always hope.

Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work? A common thread?

A common thread is living victoriously, overcoming in our circumstances, making a shift to become unstuck from brokenness and mediocrity.  Using our words wisely, even down to value ourselves, and it starts with being aware.

Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write?

Umm, the part of the book that was most fun to write is two-fold. Firstly writing the info about the effects of food addiction, and secondly, writing info on some help to overcome it.

Which part was the hardest?

The hardest part to write was the things I struggled with that no one knew about because I was suffering in silence, being embarrassed and ashamed of what I was doing.  That I’m really putting my story out there.

Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?

That I’ve always been someone that cared a great deal about mankind, even when I was misunderstood, I continued on anyway.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

You don’t need to stay stuck in your circumstances because there is always hope.
