
How long have you been writing?
I started writing when I was a young girl, spending a lot of time in the library and going on the levee with my notebooks watching the water. I let go of writing for a few years and picked it back up in 2017. I have been writing pretty much all my life.
What motivated you to write?
Poetry motivated me to write, being able to express myself in many ways.
What is your preferred genre?
I love inspirational and self-help books
How many books do you have published?
I have two books published right now
What are you currently working on?
Right now I am working on a book that focuses on a variety of topics. It is a book about bullying and the types of bullying.

Which authors inspire you to write?
My greatest influence would be Maya Angelou. One of my favorite books by her is I know why the caged bird sings. I love all of her poetry.
What are your future works in progress?
In the future, I am looking forward to publishing more books, I will be starting a podcast as well as speaking on issues I will face in daily life, and I will be making my own inspirational T-shirt line.
What inspired you to become an author?
Every book I ever read, I always wanted to be next to these great writers who had the courage to tell their stories. The library is the hall of to me.
Who has the greatest influence on your writing style?
I would say God has the greatest influence on my writing, I have always put God in writing since I was a young girl.

My writing style is inspirational and I love to use real-life experiences(testimonies).
What is your greatest challenge as an author?
My greatest challenge as an author would be the struggle of getting my name out there and know there are dishonest people looking to take advantage of you.

Is there anything you would like for readers to know?
While I was chasing down the dream of becoming an author, I was going through struggles that were meant to destroy me, but I kept going and completed two books at the same time.
