Can you share one highlight from the book?

The book is dedicated to the city of Chicago.

What is the purpose of this book?

The purpose of fame is to bring added healing to the city of Chicago and to inspire hope in the hearts of the reader.

Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work? A common thread?

Spirituality and everyday life experiences.

Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write? Which part was the hardest?

I cannot speak of any particular character but the hardest part of the book was writing about the current conditions of the world.

Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?

It took many years for me to accept being a poet. I was not very confident in myself initially.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

It is a tremendous honor to be able to write poetry and to be able to put it in book form. I am very thankful and appreciative for the support I have received over the years for being an author.

Biography
Robert Horton was born and raised in Springfield Illinois. During his childhood, he was inspired to write poetry by his older brother Fred, who also loved to write poetry. His passion for the art of poetry continued throughout his adolescence and into his adult life. Poetry has always been a way for Robert to express his inner most thoughts and feelings. Robert endeavors to write poetry in ways that will inspire, motivate, encourage, and uplift people. Many have been blessed by the gift that God has given him. Robert has successfully authored three books of poetry titled, Released: Inspired Poetic Messages (2015), Miscellaneous Pieces (2017), and FAME (2020). He is currently working on his forthcoming book of poetry titled, Black Rage and The Universal Revolution. Robert has had the opportunity to share his poetry in churches, where he has been a guest speaker, and has had the pleasure of attending book fairs and other community outlets. Robert has been blessed to have his poetry books locally in the Springfield public library, the Illinois State library and also overseas in The Virgin Islands, London, Germany, and the continent of Africa.
