About the Author

Felicha Stanley is a freelance writer, author, educator, mother, and mentor. She is also the founder of Women Empowering Women, a nonprofit organization for women and young girls. She enjoys reading, writing, and mentoring. Felicha is active in her community being an advocate for others and causes important to her.

Can you share one highlight from the book? 

The section in the book on “What happened when you Inspire and Empower Women?”

What is the purpose of this book?

Book on Women Empowerment focuses on how women have the strength and the power to change the world. And the ways women empower other women. The details of what happens when you inspire a woman to leaning in, to key lessons for empowering women. The purpose of this book is to equip the reader with more than one facet of empowerment and how the author was able to empower herself and how she is changing the world through mentoring.

Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work? A common thread?

All the themes that I find in my book turn up again over and over are Power, Leadership, Equality, and Mentoring. The common thread is empowerment.

Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write? Which part was the hardest?

The part of this book that was most fun to write was the Table of Contents and the back cover. The hardest part to write was the Introduction because if you do not capture your reader’s attention in the beginning, the reader is gone forever.

Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?

My most loyal fans do not know that I’ve been journaling since I was five years old.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

I want to share with my reader’s that anyone can write a book on any topic they choose. But the important part is to get started writing now and don’t wait. A second point is to finish the book and self-publish it. I want to thank my readers for stepping out and supporting me by reading my first book. Look for my companion book later this year, 2021. This book is different from all other empowerment books. Once you read this book , you will have no choice but to take action and empower a woman.
