Book Spotlight – Inhibitions by Rose Jackson-Beavers

Can’t Get Enough of Your Love by Rose Jackson-Beavers

Princess Gina Mays is a popular anchor on the number 1 television news station in the Midwest. As a journalist, it’s her business to know about everything and anything. As such, she heard about Jared Jamison Johnson, a sexy, rich entrepreneurial who has mad bedroom skills which send many women clamoring up walls to sample him. Recently committed, Jared loves keeping his bed warm with as many women as possible, letting them go as soon as he meets the next one. That was until he met Princess who’d learned to play the same games as men, leaving casualties by the wayside. Once she decides to enjoy a one-time rendezvous with the overly endowed guy she’d heard nothing but good things about, all hell breaks loose. Will Jared stop at nothing to get what he wants?

Which five words best describe Inhibitions?
Juicy, sexy, erotic, off-limits, forbidden.

Can you share one highlight from the book?
There are four stories included in this hot, steamy anthology and they are all from my company Prioritybooks Publications. My book, Can’t Get Enough of Your Love focuses on the games people play. In this book, Princess learned to get what she wanted and play the same games men play on women. In this case, Jared is beaten at his own game and just reading how he handles it, is entertaining.

What is the purpose of this book?
I wrote this when I was trying to introduce two new writers to readers. I was also trying to find my flow. I was trying all genre to see which one I felt more comfortable writing. I wanted to highlight writers and these writers wrote a lot of steamy scenes in their novels.

Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work?
In every book I write or present there are issues with self-love, self- respect and some aspect of trauma in their lives that causes people to react or respond in a way that might not be positive.

Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write?
I enjoyed writing about Princess, but I loved reading all the other stories and trying to pull them together for a great anthology. It did make number 1 on Amazon for anthologies.

Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?
I have given out four book scholarships in my deceased brother’s name, the McKinley Jackson Scholarship Funds. He died from cancer and I wanted to make it easy for students to go to college, and to purchase books. Our non-profit organization also gave out large amounts of school and office supplies. We also paid for several young people fees to take GED test.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers? Try a new author this year; hopefully, it’s me.
