Can you share one highlight from the book?
*I would say Brutally Honest was a poem that really stuck out a powerful and intense emotional piece. I shared my deepest thoughts and feelings about fake people. I gave a strong message that was raw and fiery. I believe many people can resonate with me on that feeling where you’ve might have gone to that particular place emotionally. In my FOE2:In Your Face book, the highlight for me was “88 Keys.” It was a poem I dedicated to my grandmother after she had passed away last year. It was my way to give tribute to her and what she truly meant to me.
What is the purpose of this book?
*The purpose and theme behind my books are expression. Being able to have the courage to speak our minds and hearts about what’s happening with us and also from what we observe around us. Basically they are books of art, poetry, and freedom!
Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work? A common thread?
*It appears that love is the central theme throughout both of my books. Pain is also something that I often speak about as well. Pretty much figuring out ways to cope and process what’s happened in my life.
