Book Spotlight: F.A.I.T.H. Forsaking All I Trust Him by Regina Price

Which five words best describes F.A.I.T.H. Forsaking All I Trust Him?

Faith, Trust, Hope, Healing, Forgiveness

Can you share one highlight from the book?

Thank God that some children are resilient and can bounce right back from traumatic situations; others suffer from something called Adversed Childhood Experiences (ACEs), potentially traumatic events that can have a negative, lasting effect on a person’s health and well-being. These experiences range from physical, emotional, or sexual abuse to parental divorce, domestic violence, death of a loved one, or the incarceration of a parent or guardian.

What is the purpose of this book?

“P” takes the reader on a F.A.I.T.H. Journey of learning how to keep the faith and trust God even in the middle of traumatic experiences. She reveals how to recognize, confront, and conquer signs and symptoms of past and present trauma, receive the healing you need to fulfill God’s ultimate purpose and plan for your life.

Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work? A common thread?

Have Faith in God!

Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write? Which part was the hardest?

“P” is the main character of the book and it was the most fun to share her experiences growing up in the country, with her siblings and cousins. They had “creative fun” making swings from trees using inner tubes, playing games such as Simon Says, 1-2-3 red-light, marbles, and hide-and-go-seek. The hardest part of the book was reliving Ps experience with domestic violence in the home but thank God for His love, healing, and forgiveness.

Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?

Writing and Public Speaking is not truly a passion for me but a gift and talent from God.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

You can be all that God has called you be and do all that God has called you to do if you just believe.
