Can you share one highlight from the book?
One highlight I adore from the book is one character being stuck between a new found love and his family. He wants to love but his little sister doesn’t like her. She wants him to make a choice between them. How hard is that?whew! Lol
What is the purpose of this book?
To show how different relationships of love doesn’t always have a great ending it’s not always rainbows and unicorns. Which some are. But some can be toxic and the wrong type of addiction.
Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work?
Yes one theme that seems to always rear it’s head in my books, plays, movies and short films is some type of love between charscters. .A common thread? Yes it’s very common. I write great drama but I make some one fall in love whether it’s bad or good for them. A new movie I’m co writing is about vampires and other mystical creatures but there I go making someone fall in love that should be killing someone. Lol.it never fells. 😂🤦🏾♀️
Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write? Which part was the hardest?
The character that I found to be the most fun to write was Shawn in the short story Sibling love.oh boy was he a womanizer and a crazy flirt. He was funny but also true to himself. He never led women on, But the tables turned once he fell in love. The part that was the hardest to write was in the short story A mother’s love the character Candace she loved the fact that she had kids but she only loved one. That was difficult to even expound on once I thought of it. How can a mother love only one child and not the other. A lot of my fans wee very upset with that character.
Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?
Most of my fans may not know that I used to teach dance and theatre back in college. I love musicals, stage combat etc all parts of theatre. They knew about my Bachelor’s in Fine Arts but didn’t know I teached it as well. But now that im40 whew chileeeeeeeee not any more
Lol but will help out friends if needed. Also some don’t know that I’ve won awards for starring in and writing short films here in Memphis in the Creative Meet up organization.
