Tell us about your latest book.
A Licentious Storm is a vampire story of love, loss, and redemption told through the eyes of an artist, his vampire master, and the descendant of the missing link in their triad.
Tell us about the journey that led to you writing this book.
For me, writing is about listening to the characters and telling the story as they give it to me. I am but the scribe.
Tell us about one of the people at the center of this book, and what makes them interesting.
Neimiah Richardson is the man caught in the middle. He works to maintain the balance stating his master as best he can while trying to introduce their missing third to a world she can’t believe is possible. He carries the weight of this responsibility and strives to not tip the scales even when being pushed to his limits.
Why does this book (or this subject) matter to you? Why was it worth spending a year (or five, etc.) of your life on it?
Again, as the scribe I must do as I’m told for my sanity. When my characters want a story told I must bow to their whims lest functioning in the real world becomes impossible. I try not to harp on it too long or else my characters get riled up and decide to make me pay.
What do you love about this book? What makes this book special to you? Is there a part that makes you cry? Makes you laugh? Is there a part you’re secretly most proud of? What is it?
This book, like my others, offers a sense of hope. It is a thrilling ride melding, lust, love, and possibilities while granting perspective on the lengths people go to protect those that are dearest to them.
Describe the reader who ought to know about this title.
This book is for mature audiences who don’t mind characters exploring their ideas of belief and their sexual orientation. It’s for lovers of the paranormal who also like a little suspense to keep them on their toes.
What do you hope this book can impart to its readers?
I’m hoping it’s a fun read for lovers of paranormal romance who like a little thrill in their love stories and don’t mind the idea of vampires and a demon or two.
What is next for you?
I have three projects on my plate at the moment. Working to get the second book in my Navarro Vampire Tales series, Sword of Souls and Whispers ready for release. Editing a standalone novel titled The Burning Queen. Editing and preparing the first book in my Wraith of Reapers series called Read’em and Reap.
Do you have anything you would like to add?
The book’s tag line gives the reader everything they need to know about what to expect from A Licentious Storm.
With their Master’s control nearly gone, a vengeful ex and a lover scorned, can this couple mend a broken bond or will the world succumb to a licentious storm?
