The Fire God Tour is a sexy, contemporary romance novel with a twist of mystery and fantasy. The hero, Miles “Ari” Moore, an internationally acclaimed hip-hop artist and CEO of AriMusic is about to embark on a widely anticipated world tour named the Fire God Tour. Despite the potential for violence at live performances, Ari is excited and determined to put on memorable shows for his fans even the ones living in cities where there have been recent bomb attacks and political upheaval. Some say his ability to provide his fans with hot, energetic and electrifying performances is his superpower, but he has spent his life hiding his true powers as a result of a genetic condition which gave him an ability to withstand high temperatures without skin burns, tolerate smoke inhalation and produce fireballs. His father Cade Moore, an accomplished jazz saxophone player who has a secret affiliation with a shadowy, undercover international organization known as The Network has helped to keep Miles safe from attempts by menacing groups to capture him and utilize him for evil intent.
He’s enjoying his life in the company of many women until he meets and falls in love with Bella Aliyah Wahlberg, a member of his executive team. He risks telling her the secrets of his potentially destructive powers despite his knowledge that she is fearful of fire especially fire created by lightning strikes. Her father, a fire fighter died in the line of duty fighting a fire caused by a lightning strike when she was ten years old.
Bella is a smart, young, goal-oriented woman with a marketing degree who aspires to be the founder of her own marketing firm, but she starts her career as a public relations consultant with AriMusic after experiences during the course of her internship caused her to feel she couldn’t rise above the glass ceiling with the large music conglomerate, World Music Company. What she lacks in experience, she makes up for in her drive for excellence and dedication to her job. Appreciative of her great ideas and value to the company, Ari offers her the position of Chief of Marketing of his growing company which Bella accepts.
Ari, both African American and Latino, lives in California away from his family on the East Coast to avoid getting caught in the family’s web of duty and conformity he thinks his family demands. He struggles with the fact that he has always felt different as a result of his genetic condition. Bella has walled off her feelings and is somewhat emotionally detached from everyone except her mother, Joan Wahlberg. Bella has a multicultural background and is the daughter of an African American mother and her father, John Wahlberg was of Scottish and Native American heritage. She is in a relationship with her boyfriend Corey Baker at the time she starts working for Ari, but she breaks it off after a fight which finally allowed her the clarity that she loved him but wasn’t in love with him.
She and Ari develop a romantic relationship and she begins to see him as a sensitive man who is now Miles to her and not the famous Ari persona. She joins him on the tour throughout Europe with the last show scheduled for Glasgow, Scotland on Halloween also known as the mystical Samhain in Celtic folklore. Miles arranges a dinner for just the two of them in an ancient castle with plans to propose to Bella in the land of her father’s ancestors. Sinister men who have been following Miles because of their knowledge of his powers attempt to kidnap him while they are isolated from others but Bella thwarts their plans. Miles proposes marriage and they begin making plans to marry in Scotland in the presence of family members and friends. Miles ends his estrangement with his family and Bella gets the large, loving family she has always desired. Their love grows despite the challenges of fame and they go forward in a happily ever after, at least for now.
