Knucklehead Fred never listens to his teachers. He challenges his teachers and principal. He always gets a call home from school. Recess is his favorite subject. He loves kickball. Fred doesn’t have a care in the world. His teacher, Ms. Johnson, cannot wonder why Fred is so adamant about staying outside. But Principal Boronstine comes to the rescue.
He loves the outdoors – fart, scream, and run. I love the illustrations – bold, realistic, and colorful. I love the font. In the first pages I was enjoying the story. The words rhyme and keep me interested.
When it comes to parenting you have to compromise. Fred wanted to be outside and the principal wanted to beautify the schoolyard. That solution was a great one. Enjoy the lesson and the story. I recommend this to young children. I give this book a five-star.
