Book Spotlight: A Cry For Help Finally Free

Which five words best describe A Cry for Help Finally Free?

God comes to our rescue….

Can you share one highlight from the book?

The highlight of my book is while sitting in church the minister instructed everyone to write down 3 things that we wanted God to do for us. I wrote down… In April 1999, I wrote that I wanted a divorce, a new home, and a new job. By December God answered all three.

What is the purpose of this book?

The purpose of my book is to empower women trapped in abusive domestic violence that they will finally become free.

Are there themes that you find turn up again and again in your work? A common thread?

Fear, secrecy, wearing a mask-like everything in our marriage was fine. I was attending church while this abuse occurred. There are many women in relationships with men in churches that are experiencing domestic violence.

Which character or part of the book was the most fun to write?

It was the most fun to write the part when God brought my husband into my life and we got married.

The hardest part to write.

When I expose the physical abuse to the nation of readers.

Can you tell us something that even your most loyal fans may not know about you?

Writing this book has given me the courage to break free in other areas of my life. I have always worn very short hair. I did not have the confidence to try something different. I recently had braids done. Love it!

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

I have a love and passion for women experiencing domestic violence. I pray that you will walk in your God-given purpose. Books are available on Amazon. It includes the story of how God spared my life and led me through the trauma of domestic violence. It offers strategies to embark upon your journey to freedom.
