Synopsis:

This book is about the importance of forgiveness. Forgiveness is a cleaning process of actively letting go of the present and past offenses so that an individual may heal and move on. Unforgiveness has a rippling effect reeking havoc in our familial and romantic relationships, as well as degrade our mental and spiritual well being. Woe to them that are caught in an offense.

I talk about the act of forgiveness and its healing and spiritual importance as it centers around molestation. In this case, I share with you, my unfortunate childhood molestation by an uncle at a very young age, and my journey to wellness. My hope is that you will come away inspired to start a new path of actively forgiving present and past offenses in order to enjoy stronger productive relationships with family and friends, leading to a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.

Queenie’s Review:

Forgiveness. This book is about forgiveness. Cleansing your soul to become whole. Now if Jesus can forgive us then we should be able to forgive also. Yes, forgiveness is a process. Forgiveness does wipe away emotional attachment and pain. I truly agree. The author explains how to heal with forgiveness. While reading the short powerful read I had a lot of emotions – hurt, sadness, anger, happy thoughts, and very tearful. I’ve learned how to let go and forgive for my own sanity. First, you have to forgive yourself. We need to get rid of that anger and bitterness before we can heal. If I want to live a happy and healthy life, I have to let it go. Thank you, Laronda for being transparent with your life. Families do not like to talk about sexual abuse especially in the family but we must break that cycle. I recommend this book to men and women who need to let go of forgiveness and heal. I give this book five stars because it was a powerful and insightful read.
