Queenie’s Review

This is a story about a young lady Zenobia who got dealt with the wrong hand. She’s trying to survive being fatherless, poor, and a statistic. Her mother doesn’t want her to follow in her footsteps. This is a great book. I really enjoyed the growth of the main character. I can relate to all the characters in the book. I love the poems at the end of each chapter. Some of these poems resonated with me. I think the significance of the pictures of the lightning in front of each chapter represents being in the storm of life. The book’s black and white cover is amazing. A good representation of the main character Zee. To the author, I believe in you and it was a great story. I can’t wait to read your next release. I recommend this book to everyone, especially teens. I give this book five stars.
