Haikeem Stokes is a South Philly native who fell in love with writing in the third grade. Since then, his “Works of Heart ” has cultivated 2 novels, 4 books of spoken word and 2 non-fiction works, The Purple Orchard Syndrome and Littered Fields. He believes that the gift of writing allows one to blend imagination and reality to create a wonderful universe.
