Today I would like to introduce Author Stephanie Wilson to my blog.  Welcome Stephanie.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I’m 30 years old, married, and  live in California., I balance out working full time and writing.

What do you do when you are not writing?

I’m spending time with family.

Do you have a day job as well?

Yes, I do, I work at a casino.

When did you first start writing and when did you finish your first book?

I have been writing short stories for a while and  now my first book came out in August 1,2018.

How did you choose the genre you write in?

It chose me lol.

Where do you get your ideas?

They just come to me and I write them down or write notes on my phone.

Do you ever experience writer’s block?

Yes, I do.

Do you work with an outline, or just write?


Is there any author or book that influenced you in any way either growing up or as an adult?

I read a lot as kid. I love Maya Angelou and Alice Walker.

Can you tell us about your challenges in getting your first book published?

Finding the right publishing home.

If you had to go back and do it all over, is there any aspect of your novel or getting it published that you would change?

No, I wouldn’t.

How do you market your work? What avenues have you found to work best for your genre?

Promoting my work and my website.

Have you written a book you love that you have not been able to get published?


Can you tell us about your upcoming book?

My next book is anthology about multiple women who are just as cold as men.

Is anything in your book based on real life experiences or purely all imagination?


What was your favorite chapter (or part) to write and why?

Harmony she went through a lot but most of all she never gave up.


How did you come up with the title?

I just come up with them, or they come to me.

What project are you working on now?

An anthology and a new release.

Will you have a new book coming out soon?

Yes, next month.
