About The Book

Jeremiah 20:9 (NIV) But if I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name,” his word is in my heart like a fire shut up in my bones.

It’s Like Fire Shut Up in My Bones is a compilation of smoldering, heartfelt stories of love, compassion, forgiveness, and amazement inspired and told by members of the Chosen Pen Writers Group. For many of our authors, this is their first published work. Yet, the passion and resolve in bringing to light a story that was burning on their hearts can be found on the printed pages inside.

My Review:

Chosen Pen Writing Group did their “thang”. This was a collection of anthologies with heartfelt stories of forgiveness, love, faith, and encouragement. I know that after you read these authors stories you will know that you will be okay if our have faith in the name of Jesus.  Everything will be okay.  Each author wrote from their heart and was transparent and vulnerable.  The authors walked in their truths through their journey and that was therapeutic for me.

I have experience some of the things the authors were writing.  I could relate and connect to the stories in the book that I was on an emotional roller coaster.  I felt God’s love, presence, and compassion while reading.  These stories will truly minister to your heart and soul.

Knowing your purpose and destiny was what I got out of all the stories.  If you don’t walk and be free in your purpose you will not make your destiny.  Thank you ladies for this wonderful anthology.

I recommend this collection of stories and give it 5 stars.

  1. Hi Ms. Queenie. I wrote the poems Silent Tears, Touched By Love and You Don’t Know Me. Thank you for your review to the anthology I’ve Got To Write; It’s Like Fire Shut Up in My Bones. I am glad you captured and felt the compassion of God’s love and presence throughout this book. This is exactly what the authors wanted readers to experience. Again, thank you so much.
