Single Girl Summer – Deanna Kimberly Burrell Book Review

Single Girl Summer by Deanna Kimberly Burrell

Single Girl Summer by Deanna Burrell was an easy read that I really enjoyed. This fun, honest, down to earth read was a great read. I wish I would have read this book earlier but just heard about it. This is a good book for book clubs and girly/friend’s circles groups. I can’t wait for Single Girl Fall and Winter to come out!!!!!!!!! This story shows the true value of friendships and sisterhood.

Button, a successful restaurant owner that has no girlfriends. She has a lot of men who would love to be with her like Henry, but she doesn’t have no love for him. All men are dogs and all women are out to get each other and not be trusted.

Dawn, a successful lawyer who is committed to a man that every other woman wants. She desperately wants a committed relationship unlike Button.

Meghan is a bitter, divorce woman who hates her cheating, lying ex-husband who left her penniless and an emotional wreck.

This book was enjoyable and realistic. I can relate to all the characters and be their friends. While reading the book, sometimes I really thought I was in the book and was talking out loud to the characters, laughing, and some I was ready to shake and slap.

I want to have my own Single Girl Summer and I can’t wait for book 2. I love the characters. Women uplifting other women was inspirational and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

The more I read, the more I enjoyed and didn’t want to put it down or for it to end. The author did a good job on the real-life situations of each woman that I could relate to.

This was well written by an author I never heard of but will in the future read again.

Highly recommend and give 5 stars.
