In ‘That Church Life 2’, the best friends, Michelle, Natalia, and Missy are at it again with all their drama. There were so many unexpected twists in this book sequel.
I could relate to the many of the characters and personalities in this story, but I would have to revoke my membership at Mt. Zion Holiness Church, because of the overly excessive drama with its members. This book carried several running themes, like the first book; lies, envy, jealousy, secrets, selfishness, and hypocrisy.
These women, lifelong friends, had a purpose and powerful testimonies. I enjoyed their journey of transformation. I did not like, however, how the book ended as a cliffhanger, and I eagerly await book #3.
This was a very good read and I highly recommend this book. It would be a great addition to your book club’s library.
